Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working days! Your expertise will support patient assessments, medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality policies. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to our valued residents. Perform patient assessments by evaluating vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations to inform treatment plans. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations. Manage IV infusions, catheterizations & wound dressings. Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document medical records, treatment notes, and discharge instructions efficiently. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with complex needs such as dementia or acute pain management. Conduct triage assessments for urgent cases to prioritize patient needs effectively. Support infection control practices and adhere to long-term care regulations to ensure a safe environment for all patients. Experience Valid LPN license with current state licensure required; additional certifications such as BLS/CPR are essential. Demonstrated experience working with geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities or assisted living environments preferred. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Hands-on experience with IV infusion therapy, medication administration, specimen collection/processing, and sterile procedures. Background in managing patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health considerations. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology principles, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and documentation.
