Day Shift Hours:
6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m., NO ON CALL Ability to work six (6) shifts within the assigned eight (8) week work schedule Ability to work one (1) major and one (1) minor holiday as defined by Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care Evening and Weekend Pay Differential. Eight (8) week schedule posted in advance. 24/7 support from our full time Board Certified physicians and APRN's, Chaplains and Social Workers.
Position Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary hospice team in providing high quality, expert care to our seriously ill patients. Our Inpatient Nurses are a vital part of our hospice team and responsible for providing comfort, care, support and education to our patients and their loved ones. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the
Following Requirements:
Valid, unencumbered Missouri LPN or compact license to include Missouri Minimum of one year experience in caring for hospice patients is preferred Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others; and to prepare and present information in oral and written formats Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines; must schedule and manage time effectively CPR certification required Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care is an equal-opportunity, drug-free employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
