Summary As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Nicks Health Care Center, you will be vital in delivering compassionate care to our elderly patients. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist with daily living activities for patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies. Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols within the facility. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in senior care or geriatrics is highly preferred. Strong skills in IV insertion, suturing, and patient monitoring. Knowledge of ICD-9 coding is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on dignity and respect.
