What You'll Do:
As our Director of Nursing, you will lead and oversee high-quality healthcare services and programs, improving the lives of our residents and driving the success of our team by: Leading and managing our Health Services team, ensuring high performance through effective selection, training, coaching, and performance evaluation. Conducting comprehensive resident assessments prior to move-in and on an ongoing basis, ensuring care plans reflect actual needs and appropriate Level of Care. Ensuring high-quality care delivery and compliance by conducting observations, auditing documentation including EHR/Yardi/Care Stream tasks, Quick Mar/med audits, call light response, and implementing corrective actions. Coordinating care with all external partners such as physicians, labs, and therapy providers, ensuring all orders and treatments are accurately executed. Implementing operational policies and procedures to build efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance across healthcare services. Managing departmental functions, including budget, supply inventory, staffing, record-keeping for the care team, and ensuring the physical location is maintained. Facilitating regular meetings and communication with residents, families, and associates to resolve issues and discuss needs, services, and progress.What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in a senior living or related industry supervisory or leadership role. 2+ years of experience providing care to cognitive and memory-care residents or patients preferred. Must hold active state-required nursing licensure (RN or LPN) and an acceptable record. Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred). Current CPR/BLS certification. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. The ability to assist residents with limited mobility, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions. Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates). Why Choose SageGrove?
