Immediate opening for Licensed Practical Nurse (Endoscopy/Gastro) to support Keesler Air Force Base, MS. Please note that this is a temporary position for up to 2 months.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certificate. Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) A minimum of a year of practical/vocational nursing experience is required; gastroenterology experience within previous 24 months is required. Current, full, active and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse. Duties include but not limited to: Assist with manometries, pill cam and other endoscopic procedures. Prepare and clean endoscopic equipment. Assist the nurse with patient education of endoscopic procedures focusing on technical applications and procedure preparation.
