Department:
SCC Primary Care Services Full Time/PRN:
Full Time Job Summary Provides nursing care under RN direction; performs assessments within scope, medication administration, documentation, and patient education. Minimum Qualifications Current LPN license (MS); effective communication skills. Preferred Qualifications CPR certification. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Collect, monitor, and report patient information. Assist admission/discharge; provide teaching. Administer medications safely; infection prevention. Support staffing and teamwork; document accurately. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices. Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment. Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech. All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
