Our practice takes a different approach to healthcare. We focus on functional and integrative medicine, prevention, nutrition, healthy aging, hormone health and lifestyle-based care. We spend time with our patients, look beyond symptoms, and encourage patients to become active participants in improving their health. We are looking for an LPN or RN who is genuinely interested in this approach to healthcare and who will enjoy being part of a positive, wellness-oriented practice. Previous functional medicine experience is not required. We are happy to teach the right person. Enjoys working closely with a provider and being part of a small, collaborative team Experience or a strong interest in functional medicine, nutrition, fitness, hormone health, healthy aging, weight management, wellness or IV therapy is a definite plus. Clinical Responsibilities Responsibilities will include typical outpatient clinical nursing duties, including: Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Updating medical histories and medication lists Medication and supplement reconciliation Phlebotomy and specimen collection Injections and routine clinical procedures Assisting with prescription refills under provider direction Coordinating laboratory testing and referrals Prior authorizations Patient phone calls, messages and follow-up Patient education within the nurse's scope of practice Accurate EMR documentation Assisting the provider with day-to-day clinical workflow RNs may be asked to perform additional duties consistent with their education, training, licensure and applicable Mississippi regulations. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Mississippi LPN or RN license Outpatient or medical-office experience preferred Phlebotomy experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable with EMR documentation and technology Professional, compassionate and patient-focused Ability to work independently within the appropriate scope of practice and provider protocols . Schedule This position offers an unusually attractive nursing schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week Monday through Thursday only Daytime hours with flexibility No Fridays No weekends No call We value work-life balance and are able to offer flexibility within our clinic schedule.
