Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, conducting physical examinations, and documenting medical histories accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Administer medications and injections following established protocols and ensuring patient safety. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, processing, and basic medical imaging procedures. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medication regimens, and discharge planning while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, or outpatient clinics. Critical care experience in settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as EClinicalWorks, Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation and communication. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions like Alzheimer's disease is preferred. Prior involvement in hospice or palliative care settings demonstrating compassionate end-of-life support skills. Strong background in geriatrics, pain management, infection control practices, and acute/chronic disease management including infectious diseases and respiratory conditions.
