RN/LPN - Director

Job Description

Experienced RN/LPN needed to serve as the Director of Resident Care. Full-Time | 8:30am-5pm Monday- Friday Does Require On-Call Rotation Ideal candidate will lead resident care and daily clinical operations at our Assisted Living Community . This position provides hands-on leadership to ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while overseeing staffing, clinical services, regulatory compliance, and team development. Duties (included but not limited to): Oversee daily resident care operations and ensure residents' needs are consistently met. Develop, update, and monitor resident care plans; coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Monitor residents' conditions, medications, and changes in health status and ensure appropriate follow-up. Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and clinical support teams regarding resident care. Lead staffing, scheduling, recruitment, orientation, and ongoing staff development. Support survey readiness and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and resident care. Monitor supplies and resources while supporting departmental budgetary goals. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment. Participate in quality assurance initiatives designed to improve resident outcomes and quality of life. Serve as a key member of the campus leadership team and keep the Executive Director informed of resident care and staffing needs.
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered Mississippi RN/LPN License Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care with geriatric experience preferred. Management or supervisory experience required. Strong knowledge of resident care, healthcare regulations, and quality standards. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills. Ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining a compassionate, resident-centered approach. Current CPR certification or ability to obtain/maintain certification as required.
