Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a nursing home setting on 7-3, 3-11 and 11-7 shifts The LPN will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents. This position involves managing medication distribution through the med cart, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting the overall health needs of our residents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, attention to detail, and strong clinical skills to contribute to a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and safely using the med cart, following prescribed schedules and protocols. Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor residents' health status by observing vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff. Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of care provided, medication administration, and resident responses. Support the nursing team in implementing care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control procedures, and regulatory requirements. Respond promptly to resident requests and emergencies with professionalism and compassion. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to promote optimal resident health outcomes. Skills Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care facility is preferred. Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members. Compassionate nature with a focus on providing respectful and dignified care. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Good organizational skills for managing documentation and medication schedules. Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs and healthcare environments. Pay:
$21.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
