Job Description

Clinic Nurse Job Description:
The Clinic Nurse takes direction from a Physician or Nurse Practitioner and will perform day-to-day clinical nurse duties. This requires meeting with clients, consulting with other physicians or NP's, completing reports and other consultation with other professionals in the office, and general office management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating all activities regarding required nursing duties and responsibilities in a clinic setting.
  • Assisting the Physician or NP during medication clinics.
  • Monitoring client progress and problems between medication clinics and reporting relevant findings to the Physician or NP.
  • Counsel clients on importance of following medication regimen and observe client's response to medication.
  • Complete reports, records, logs, and other data as required for client records.
  • Participating in consultation and education activities.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to take direction from Physician or NP.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations within the registration staff at all rural health clinics.
