Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or physician's assistants. Observe and record patients' conditions, vital signs and behaviors. Identify and report changes in patients' conditions to physicians or physician's assistants. Monitor and supervise patients with chronic illnesses, like diabetes and high blood pressure. Educate patients about treatments and medications and provide emotional support to patients and their families. Answer patients' questions, address concerns, and provide necessary information about hospital routines and services in order to reduce anxiety. Help transport nonambulatory patients to x-ray labs, operating rooms, clinics, diagnostic laboratories etc., using equipment like stretchers, wheelchairs etc. Preauthorizations Referral Follow ups
