Position Overview:
As a Charge Nurse at Searstone Retirement Community, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing nursing staff and providing top-notch care to our residents. You will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of life for each resident, maintaining dignity, respect, and the individual needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing staff during assigned shifts. Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for residents. Monitor and administer medications. Ensure that resident care is consistent with facility policies and regulations. Work collaboratively with the medical team to coordinate care. Assist in training, coaching, and mentoring nursing staff. Document care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Current, active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina. Prior experience in long-term care or a retirement community is preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. #HP123
