Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our reputable team, providing excellent nursing care at a leading nursing home in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This position is ideal for a nurse looking to work in a flexible, supportive environment that prioritizes patient well-being and professional development. As a PRN LPN, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, ensuring high standards of care and optimizing health outcomes. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the health care provider and consistent with standard nursing practices. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress. Administer medications and perform routine procedures according to physician instructions and nursing standards. Communicate with patients, family, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams effectively. Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, advocating for the best patient outcomes. Required Skills Proficiency in administering medications and understanding standard medical protocols. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
