Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice. Knowledge of long-term care regulations, resident rights, and skilled nursing facility standards. Experience providing direct patient care to geriatric and long-term care populations. Ability to administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered therapies safely and accurately. Skilled in monitoring residents' conditions and reporting changes to the interdisciplinary care team. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical documentation. Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices. Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in accordance with state regulations. Ability to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
