Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN
JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to the RN Clinical Manager and Program Director.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
Performs the duties of a Licensed Practical Nurse in an outpatient hyperbaric and wound care clinic environment, with emphasis on clinic flow and operations. Assists with supervising the unlicensed assistive personnel while performing direct patient care. Will provide patient care to include wound cleaning, wound assessment, dressing changes, wraps, casts, etc. This position will also assist with meeting key performance indicators, quality improvement, and clinical documentation audits. Under the direction of the provider, implement a nursing care plan for assigned patients
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification Minimum of one year nursing experience. Direct patient wound care experience in a clinical setting preferred.
