Part-Time or Full-Time Nurse - Home Instead | Bismarck, ND Join Home Instead and Make a Difference in Seniors' Lives! Home Instead is seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team in Bismarck, ND. If you're passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence while receiving exceptional care in the comfort of their own homes, we'd love to hear from you. Position Summary As a Nurse at Home Instead, you will provide clinical oversight and nurse-directed home care services, conduct client assessments, develop individualized care plans, and support our Care Professionals through training and education. You'll work closely with clients, families, physicians, and our office team to ensure safe, personalized, and high-quality care. Responsibilities Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans. Provide nursing oversight for medication management and administration, including: Medication setup and education. Crushing or splitting medications as prescribed. Assisting clients with medication administration when appropriate. Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to the care team. Perform nurse-directed care, including: Wound care and dressing changes. Bathing assistance for clients with wounds or dressings. Foot and nail care. Catheter and ostomy care. Oxygen therapy monitoring and flow adjustments as prescribed. Educate and train Care Professionals on proper care techniques, infection prevention, and emergency procedures. Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and state regulations. Provide clinical guidance and support to caregivers as needed. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Dakota in good standing. Previous experience in home health, geriatric care, hospice, or a related nursing field preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to educate and mentor caregivers. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional senior care.
