1 Description American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, requiring 1+ year of experience and BLS certification, with variable evening/night shift coverage. Details Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (post-acute) setting with 30 beds Patient population includes mild dementia and bariatric diagnoses Ratios of 30 to 1 with 2 med aids or 15 to 1 Uses MatrixCare/Matrix point of care EMR Variable shifts including 3pm-11pm and one 12-hour 7pm-7am shift weekly Both 8- and 12-hour shifts available Every other weekend and every other holiday required 40 hours per week scheduled, with overtime available if offered No on-call or call-back requirements Requirements LPN license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required Current BLS certification required Valid driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Provide skilled nursing care to residents with mild dementia and bariatric needs in a post-acute care setting Work week runs Sunday through Saturday Candidates must reside within an 80-mile radius or accept a reduced local rate Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
