Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing one-on-one nursing care in an educational setting. A dedicated LPN or RN is needed to support a medically intensive student attending a year-round school. The role involves riding in a van with the student to and from an out-of-district program and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the commute. This position offers 20 hours per week, beginning July 6 and spanning both the summer and upcoming school year (2026-2027).

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN or RN license for NH Experience working with pediatric populations, especially those with medical or developmental complexities Compassionate and reliable, with strong advocacy skills Prior school-based nursing experience preferred but not required Ability to communicate effectively with school staff, students, and families Willingness to ride in a vehicle with the student for daily transportation, morning and afternoon routes

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide safe, attentive care to a non-verbal student with motor and developmental delays during van transport to and from school in Massachusetts Assist with medical needs and monitor health status en route Maintain clear and accurate nursing documentation related to student care Collaborate with school staff, transportation, and the student's family to ensure continuity of care Arrive at the student's home by 7:20am for morning pick-up and return for afternoon transport at 1:30pm If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in a student's daily life and thrive in a supportive, mobile role, this position offers a unique and fulfilling experience.
