Job Description

Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide support for our client's healthcare systems in New London, New Hampshire. This is a contract assignmentwith a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

36 hours/week

3x12 Nights (12 hrs)
Contract Length:
13 week Pay Range for
Traveler:
$1,500.00- $1,534.00
Weekly DOE Position Overview:
Provide safe, high-quality care to Medical/Surgical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Perform nursing assessments, interventions, documentation, and patient/family education. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), nutrition, hydration, and medication administration. Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the supervising RN.
Perform focused assessments including:
Vital signs Pain assessment Skin and wound assessment Functional status Drains and ostomies Fluid balance Nutritional status Administer oral, topical, inhaled, and IV medications (IV certification/delegation required). Apply dressings and assistive devices as ordered. Maintain medication safety, patient identification, specimen collection, and accurate documentation. Participate in staff meetings, mandatory education, competencies, and training.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of LPN/LVN Medical-Surgical experience .
EPIC EMR
experience required. Active New Hampshire LPN License or Compact License . Active BLS (AHA) certification. Own reliable vehicle required. IV Certification strongly encouraged (training available onsite if needed). Travel experience preferred.
