Job Description

LPN -
Medical Surgical Position Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced LPN/LVN to provide safe, high-quality care to Medical/Surgical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN will assist with patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, patient education, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
2+ years of Medical/Surgical LPN/LVN experience required
EPIC EMR
experience required Travel experience preferred IV certification strongly encouraged (training may be available) Active NH LPN license or Compact license required at time of submission Active AHA BLS certification required Must have own vehicle Local travelers are not eligible
Responsibilities:
Provide and document nursing care, interventions, and patient education for stable patients under RN supervision Perform focused nursing assessments including vital signs, pain, skin/wound assessments, fluid balance, and functional status Administer oral, topical, inhaled, and approved IV medications (per training and delegation requirements) Assist with ADLs, nutrition, hydration, wound care, and patient safety needs Communicate changes in patient condition and care recommendations to the RN and interdisciplinary team Maintain accurate documentation and follow medication safety and infection control policies
