Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Home Care Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality, in-home medical care for pediatric patients. This role involves delivering personalized nursing services in a home setting, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of children with complex medical needs. The ideal candidate will have experience with ventilator management and tracheostomy care, demonstrating confidence in handling specialized medical equipment and procedures. Schedule:
Flexible schedule. Choose your hours.
The following shifts are available:
Weekday 7AM to 7PM Monday/Wednesday/Friday Weekend shifts available as well. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, following physician orders and care plans. Manage ventilator systems and tracheostomy tubes, ensuring proper functioning and safety at all times. Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and document observations accurately. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers. Educate family members and caregivers on medical procedures, equipment use, and emergency protocols. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition or emergencies with appropriate interventions. Maintain detailed records of care provided, equipment used, and patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate ongoing care plans tailored to each child's needs. Skills Proven experience with ventilator management and tracheostomy care is essential. Strong clinical skills in pediatric nursing with a focus on complex medical conditions. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate families and coordinate with healthcare teams. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for pediatric patients. Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs within a home environment.
What You'll Do:
Provide private duty nursing care to a pediatric patient in their home, working closely with the family and care team. This includes assessment, medication administration, treatment and therapy per the care plan, trach/vent management where applicable, family education, and documentation.
Requirements:
Active New Jersey RN or LPN license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Reliable transportation. Trach/vent experience is a plus but not required we provide paid training before your first shift.

Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
