Apply Now Licensed Practical Nurse for Hospice Visits BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team in the North Jersey Hospice office , located in North Bergen, NJ for per diem visits. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in all of North Jersey (Including Essex, Union, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Middlesex and Somerset counties). Minimum of 2 weekdays availability required 1-2 holidays per year mandatory No on call required Must be willing to cover any county-assignments will vary Weekly pay Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $38-$41 per hour This is visiting position-reliable transportation needed Bilingual Spanish a plus Apply now and speak with a recruiter to learn more about opportunities in your area. Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (LPN) you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. Responsibilities for a Hospice LPN include : Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories. Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care. Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager. Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders. Performing client assessments as necessary. Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends Qualifications for a LPN include: A current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in NJ A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience. Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
