Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student health in a school-based setting near El Prado, NM. This role is perfect for compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurses (RN) who are dedicated to providing attentive care in an educational environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Up to 37.5 hours per week
Caseload Details:
School-based nursing assignment Student population and specific assignment details to be determined during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to students in accordance with physician orders and school policies Administer medications and treatments within the school setting Monitor student health, address urgent medical needs, and keep thorough documentation Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and outside healthcare providers to ensure students' well-being Help foster a healthy, safe, and inclusive school environment
Qualifications:
Current, active RN or LPN license in the state of New Mexico Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred Strong clinical assessment abilities, excellent organization, and clear communication skills are valued
