Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a school setting near Blue Diamond, NV. This full-time role begins as soon as possible and continues through May 22, 2026. You'll make a significant impact working one-on-one with an elementary-aged student requiring tracheostomy care, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Desired qualifications:
Active, unrestricted LPN license in Nevada Current CPR/BLS certification Experience in tracheostomy care or complex pediatric medical needs preferred Ability to navigate school health support, including communication with staff and families Strong judgment, compassion, and reliability Willingness to complete a district background check and a 10-panel drug screening promptly Primary responsibilities: Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a trach-dependent elementary student throughout the school day Administer routine and emergency medical interventions as prescribed Maintain clear documentation of care provided, health status, and any incidents Collaborate with school personnel, healthcare providers, and family to support the students individual health plan Support the students participation in classroom activities, adapting care as needed for inclusivity and safety Uphold all health, safety, and confidentiality standards within the school environment As part of this engaging contract position, you'll experience the satisfaction of supporting a childs educational journey while gaining specialized experience in school-based nursing. The assignment is structured for 40 hours per week at a single elementary schoolno travel between locations required.
