Job Description

Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) supporting students in the Las Vegas area. This full-time role places you at one elementary school, where your skills and dedication will make a real difference for a student requiring 1:1 care with trach support. With a Monday through Friday schedule and consistent hours, you'll have the chance to build meaningful connections and provide essential clinical care throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active LPN/LVN license in Nevada Current CPR/BLS certification Experience working with trach patients highly desirable Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Commitment to completing all district-mandated screenings, including fingerprinting and a 10-panel drug screen Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at a single elementary school
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct care and ongoing monitoring to a student with a tracheostomy, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Collaborate closely with educational staff, administration, and the students healthcare team Maintain thorough and accurate documentation Respond to medical emergencies and adapt care protocols as needed Uphold school, local, and state health practices and confidentiality standards Why consider this position?
