Primary work location will be at 599 California Ave, Reno, NV 89501. This position will be considered hourly, non-exempt.

Qualifications:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices. Excellent communication skills. Experience with electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems preferred. Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding preferred. Background in mental health treatment is advantageous (anxiety, eating disorders, mood disorders). Strong spelling, grammar, multitasking, and electronic documentation skills. Strong computer skills—EMR, Microsoft/Google programs, insurance portals. Demonstrates competency and sensitivity in multicultural, racial, spiritual, and gender identity matters.
Requirements:
Must pass a federal background check at hire and every 3 years. Must adhere to the drug-free workplace act. Demonstrate maturity of judgment, attitude, and life skills. Must demonstrate an ability to adapt to change and remain flexible. Must be a strong team player that works well in a busy environment. Must have strong communication skills and be upbeat, positive, and professional when interacting with clients, providers and fellow co-workers. Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time unsupervised & independently.
Duties:
Collect and document nursing data upon admission and throughout the residential stay, within LPN scope of practice, and promptly report significant findings or changes in condition to the RN and/or appropriate provider. Administer medications and document all medication activity in accordance with provider orders, facility policy, and LPN scope of practice. Perform ongoing medical monitoring, including vital signs, weights, symptoms, and coordination of ordered laboratory services. Support medical triage and crisis response for RTC-level clients in collaboration with the RN and clinical team, within LPN scope of practice. Document nursing interventions, observations, and communications in the EMR system. Collaborate closely with registered nurses, therapists, dietitians, physicians, advanced practice providers, and recovery coaches. Participate in daily clinical handoff meetings and weekly treatment team meetings as assigned. Reinforce client and family education regarding medications, symptoms, and health management consistent with the established plan of care. Support recovery coaches with meals, exposures, behavioral interventions, and daily routines. Maintain infection control procedures and comply with all regulatory standards. Assist with discharge planning and communicate relevant nursing observations to support continuity of care. Perform nursing duties within the limits of LPN licensure, training, demonstrated competency, provider orders, and facility policy. Other duties as assigned. Overnight Duties for
Night Shift:
15 minute bed checks. Documentation as needed. Medication administration as needed and within LPN scope of practice. Monitor clients and promptly escalate changes in condition or safety concerns to the appropriate RN/provider. Other duties as assigned.
