A Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse provides basic medical care under the direction of registered nurses and other healthcare specialists. The tasks that they are permitted to perform vary by state, but usually include changing bandages, checking blood pressure, or helping feed patients. May work in hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare facilities.

LPNs:
Pediatric Nursing (Home & School): 1:1 school cases, building/sub/floater roles, or home care for children with complex needs.
Private Duty Nursing:
Long-term, 1:1 skilled care in the home for patients with chronic or complex conditions (trach/vent, g-tube, wound care). Short-Term /
Post-Op Cases:
Support patients for a few days or weeks after surgery with wound care, pain management, and safe mobility.

Qualifications/Education:
At least 6 months of nursing experience NYS LPN license and registration BLS from American Heart Association Physical, QuantiFERON within a year MMR Titers within 10 years Malpractice Insurance NPI #
