A Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse provides basic medical care under the direction of registered nurses and other healthcare specialists. The tasks that they are permitted to perform vary by state, but usually include changing bandages, checking blood pressure, or helping feed patients. May work in hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare facilities.
Our Charlton Family Medicine of Ballston Lake is looking for a Part Time LPN to join their team! This is a 20 -30 hours a week with potential to go full time in the future.
The hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. •This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!•
Responsibilities:
Administer and record vaccines. Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate. Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner. Maintain timely patient flow. Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements. Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider. Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system. Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations) Process patient prescriptions. Compensation:
$26.00 - $33.00 per hour CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth.
