Excel Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide per diem nursing coverage within the Greece Central School District . This is an as-needed position providing coverage when regular nursing staff are out due to vacations, sick days, personal days, leaves or other staffing needs . This is a great opportunity for an LPN who wants to pick up occasional daytime shifts without committing to a traditional full-time schedule. Why This Is a Great Opportunity Weekday/daytime hours No traditional evening or overnight shifts Flexible, per diem scheduling Pick up shifts based on your availability Great opportunity to supplement another position School-based nursing experience Work with students in a supportive educational environment Local assignment in Greece, NY Hands-on support from Excel Staffing Solutions Responsibilities May Include Providing basic nursing care to students Medication administration First aid and responding to student health concerns Monitoring students with known medical needs Following student care plans and physician orders Maintaining accurate nursing documentation Communicating appropriately with school staff, parents and healthcare providers Supporting the school health office as needed Requirements Current New York State LPN license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Pediatric, school nursing or community nursing experience preferred Strong assessment and communication skills Dependable and professional Comfortable working independently in a school environment Ability to complete required school district and Excel Staffing credentialing Perfect for an LPN Looking for Extra Daytime Hours This position is per diem and as needed , so there are no guaranteed weekly hours. Coverage opportunities may become available for planned vacations as well as unexpected sick calls and other absences.
