The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for supervising the nursing care of residents on assigned units. They will provide appropriate evaluation of resident condition/and documents, communicating vital information to appropriate personnel. The LPN ensures the delivery of nursing care on the unit is consistent with facility standards, and established policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
Supports and promotes the nursing department functions on the unit by following established policies and procedures.
Is knowledgeable and responds to nursing and building emergencies according to established policy and procedure. Is knowledgeable and responds appropriately to nursing/facility emergencies according to established policies and procedures.
May serve as Assigned Supervisor for various nursing department personnel. As such, conducts employee performance reviews, disciplinary conferences, and exit interviews in a timely mannerAssigns duties and responsibilities to unit staff members in a manner that facilities optimum delivery of care to residents. Conducts regular rounds on the unit and notifies appropriate personnel of findings.

Qualifications:
Licensed currently as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State in good standing. Maintenance of licensure requirements required. Long term care experience preferred. If you have a passion for service, work life balance, and enjoy working with others, we want to speak with you!
