9682768-13790 Job Description Embark on a meaningful contract assignment supporting a high school student as a licensed nurse in a school setting near Johnson City, NY. This opportunity allows you to provide essential one-on-one care for a male 9th grader, ensuring his health and well-being throughout the school day. Youll work closely with school staff and the students family to create a safe, nurturing environment tailored to his needs.

Key Qualifications:

Current NY LPN or RN license Fingerprint clearance required Experience working with students who have tracheostomies and are wheelchair bound Familiarity with mobility support and adaptive equipment Previous school nursing experience, or a background in pediatric or special needs care, is highly desirable Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to individualized care

Essential Responsibilities:

Deliver daily 1:1 nursing care to a student with specific medical and mobility requirements Administer medications and manage tracheostomy care as needed Support the student with mobility, transferring, and any personal care during school hours Collaborate with school staff and parents to maintain comprehensive care Document daily care activities according to school and medical guidelines Maintain a safe and supportive environment for learning and participation
