Are you an LPN looking for an opportunity to provide meaningful, hands-on patient care in a fast-paced environment? Finger Lakes Health Urgent Care in Penn Yan is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team!
In this role, you'll work alongside experienced medical providers and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients across the lifespan—from pediatric and adolescent patients to adults and older adults.

Schedule Full-Time position
12-hour shifts
Weekend rotation required
Holiday rotation required What You'll Do
Under the direction of the Practice Manager and medical provider, the LPN will: Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to Urgent Care patients.
Assist medical providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
Assess patient needs and communicate relevant information to the medical provider and healthcare team.
Provide care appropriate to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.
Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, families, providers, and coworkers.
Promote a positive healing environment that supports safety, dignity, respect, and well-being.
Maintain clinical knowledge and skills through continuing education, training, competencies, and professional development.
Work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards. What We're Looking For
Required:
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Current New York State LPN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through RQI, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion.
Professional, courteous, and patient-focused approach.
Basic computer literacy.
Preferred:
Previous physician office, outpatient, or Urgent Care experience.
Experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR).
