Your days will be devoted to delivering compassionate care to a young student who requires dedicated assistance. The child is wheelchair and walker bound, with no cognitive functions, and depends on you for all aspects of physical support, including toileting and mobility. Your expertise as an LPN/LVN ensures that the student can thrive with dignity and comfort in the classroom.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current and valid LPN or LVN license Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Confidence providing full physical assistance and personal care Knowledge of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach to care Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 care and supervision throughout the school day Perform all necessary toileting and hygiene routines Assist with safe transfers in and out of mobility devices Monitor the students well-being and promptly address changes Document care provided and report to appropriate team members Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere Embrace the rewarding challenge of making each school day accessible and enjoyable for a child in need.
