This full-time contract position offers a unique chance to provide personalized 1-on-1 care during the entire school year, beginning as soon as possible. Working closely within a school environment, youll support a students health and well-being both in the classroom and during transportation.

Key Qualifications:

Current LPN/LVN or RN licensure in New York State Previous experience in school nursing, pediatric, or similar care settings highly valued Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families Compassion, reliability, and a nurturing approach to care Ability to ride the school bus and assist with transfers and mobility needs

Core Responsibilities:

Provide vigilant 1-on-1 nursing care and monitoring throughout the school day Administer medications, manage medical equipment, and respond to urgent health needs Accompany the student on the bus to and from school, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Collaborate with educators, school staff, and parents to support the students overall educational and health plan Maintain detailed health records and use sound clinical judgment in all interactions Adapt to dynamic situations with calm professionalism and care This role offers consistent weekday hours from 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM, giving you evenings and weekends free.
