If you enjoy teaching and mentoring staff in resident care, we are the place for you. We provide a friendly work environment.

•$5,000 Sign -On Bonus

•$2500 upon 90-day successful probationary period. $2500 upon satisfactory performance at 180-day mark.

Job duties include:

Typically, is a supervisor role. Provides leadership, supervises and directs medication technicians and resident care aides on daily functions in accordance with established procedures, policies and regulations that govern the facility. Provide direct patient care as needed according to care plans. Mentors and assists medication technicians with medication administration and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers as needed. Monitor, report and record changes in resident condition. - Works in collaboration with healthcare professionals, residents and families to provide excellent care to residents. Collect and send specimens for laboratory testing. Does fingersticks and insulin administration at 4:00pm and 9:00pm. Place phone calls to pharmacies and doctors' offices. Assists with taking written and oral reports and orders. This position reports directly to the Resident Care Director.

Qualifications:

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of NY Experience in a health care setting preferred. Two years assisted living and/ or supervisory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills. Nurse with PCC experience preferred. Must have a cheerful disposition and be a team player.
