Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your expertise will directly impact patient care and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, and those requiring acute or chronic pain management. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating physiological responses. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed medical documentation. Assist with complex procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, tube feeding, wound suturing, and sterile processing techniques. Conduct specimen collection and processing for laboratory testing; utilize diagnostic evaluation skills to support medical decision-making. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and ensuring accurate medical records management. Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the respective state or jurisdiction. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology essential for accurate patient assessment and medication administration. Ability to perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile techniques, and aseptic procedures confidently. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate patient needs and collaborate with healthcare teams; experience in health coaching or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are beneficial.
