Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1st Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living healthcare team. The LPN will play a crucial role in providing quality resident care, assisting with medical procedures, and supporting the nursing staff in delivering comprehensive healthcare services. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to working with individuals with diverse needs.
Shifts Offered:
6a-2p (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Base Pay:
$30 an hour Duties Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions. Provide direct resident care, including assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort. Conduct residents' assessments to gather vital information regarding health status and needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement discharge planning for residents. Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication with the healthcare team. Support residents with disabilities by providing tailored care that meets their unique requirements. Maintain accurate resident records using Point Click Care electronic health record system. Educate residents on health management, including inhalation techniques and primary care practices. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Proficiency in medication administration and understanding medical terminology. Experience in resident assessments and providing quality resident care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents and their families. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not mandatory. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing care.
