The Congregation of St. Joseph offers a peaceful and caring work environment providing care for 26 low acuity residents. LPN Job Description Understands, creates and supports a care environment: Promotes a care environment that places an emphasis on positive living and creative aging, person respected care and relationship centered living. Facilitates an environment of wellness, promoting maximum independence for each resident.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the on-going provision of clinical services to enhance the physical, emotional, and mental health care needs for residents under their care. May function as a team leader providing support to the clinical staff ensuring performance of assigned duties is completed accurately and timely.
Performance Requirements:
Follows accepted LPN standards of practice in accordance with the State Board of Nursing's Nurse Practice Act. Keeps accurate, timely records of health concerns, status changes, appointment outcomes, etc; communicating information to the Director of Nursing and ancillary service departments; ensuring records are updated and documentation is objective, concise, accurate and timely. Must be able to provide direct resident care services on demand. Maintains confidentiality of information as it pertains to residents, employees, and vendors. Able to balance and prioritize several projects consecutively with varying degrees of interruptions. Strong time-management skills Able to manage people and systems. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program with active, unencumbered LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Ohio. Experience in Assisted Living care facility preferred.
Pay:
From $26.00 per hour
