Position:

On-Site Job Description Administer nursing care within the LPN scope of practice under the supervision of a registered nurse, physician, dentist, podiatrist, optometrist, or chiropractor. Administer oxygen, provide wound care, perform catheter insertions, administer medications, and assist with emergency situations. Maintain medication accountability records and accurately document patient conditions, responses, and progress. Prepare required nursing reports and maintain accurate patient documentation. Provide general nursing care, including taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene, applying topical treatments, and repositioning patients. Respond to patient alarms and assist with making medical appointments. Support recreational activities and group interventions as assigned. Provide work direction, orientation, and training to lower-level staff. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and interdisciplinary team activities. Order medications and medical supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nurses station and medication areas. Perform clerical duties, including answering phones and filing.

Schedule Primary shift:

6:00 AM-2:00 PM. Must have flexibility to work second shift: 1:30 PM-9:30 PM. Weekend and holiday availability may be required. Schedule and hours may vary based on facility needs. Candidates must be able to start promptly and have no upcoming scheduling conflicts. Requirements Valid Ohio medical license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Completion of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) packet. ODRC packet requires SSN information for individuals who have lived outside Ohio for 5+ years. Must be comfortable working on-site in a secure facility. Security screening is required. No cell phones or personal items are permitted while on-site.
