Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Perform medication administration under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
- Use medical terminology to accurately document patient information
- Conduct basic patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording patient history
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting and processing specimens
- Administer basic life support in emergency situations
- Perform EKG and PFT testing
- Maintain a clean and organized medical environment
Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration techniques
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide excellent patient care with compassion and empathy
- Skilled in performing basic life support procedures
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs measurements
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Experience with diagnostic testing to include: Phelbotomy, EKG , and
