Community Health Screener -

RN/LPN General Summary/Responsibilities:

The Community Health Screener is a PRN position that provides wellness services and education within the community including but not limited to:

• Seasonal flu vaccinations
• Fingerstick screenings
• Other screenings including, but not limited to, Blood Pressure, Hearing, and Body Mass Index This position might require evening or weekend availabilities.

Screenings occasionally may take place outdoors.

Qualifications Education Minimum Level of Education Required:

Associate degree Additional requirements:  Type of degree: Associates or Bachelors  Area of study or major: Nursing  Preferred educational qualifications: N/A  Position specific testing requirement: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration  Current Ohio RN or LPN License, required.  Current American Heart CPR certification, preferred

No prior job-related work experience Prior job title or occupational experience: N/A Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A Preferred experience: N/A Other experience requirements: N/A Knowledge/Skills  Excellent interpersonal skills are a must  Must be able to lift 10+ pounds without restriction  Must possess a reliable form of transportation and driver's license in good standing  Basic computer knowledge and regular access to an internet-connected electronic device such as a computer is required  Must successfully complete 90-day probationary period
