Job Description

Job description: Become a member of the Greene County Sheriff's Office. We do not contract our nursing out. We opened the brand new, state-of-the-art Greene County Gene Fischer Criminal Justice Center earlier this year.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must be at least 20 years of age and a United States citizen. Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program. Must have a State of Ohio Licensed Practical Nursing License in good standing with no restrictions. Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid State of Ohio driver's license without a disqualifying record of suspension or revocation in any state. The Greene County driver's eligibility policy states, no driving Under the Influence (DUI) or three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years. Successful completion of background exams as set forth by the Sheriff.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide medical care to inmates including treatments, administer medications, verify medical history, coordinate lab and x-ray work as ordered. Process mental health, dental and physician orders. Applicant must have good time management skills. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned to direct, promote, further and ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Greene County Sheriff's Office. Maintain required licenses and certifications.
CURRENT AVAILABLE SHIFT
12-hour shifts (6a-6p & 6p-6a). Shift assignments are bid for annually by seniority.

Pay:
$30.49 - $38.64 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
