6:00 PM-6:00 AM — 1 opening Pay range: $33-$35/hr depending on experience Position Overview We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for contract opportunities supporting healthcare services at a correctional facility in Lexington, OK . The LPN will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision or direction of a Registered Nurse, physician, or dentist. This is an excellent opportunity for LPNs interested in gaining or expanding experience in correctional healthcare while working consistent 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care within the scope of LPN licensure. Obtain and document vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure. Administer medications as ordered. Perform nursing procedures and other clinical functions within scope of practice. Assist with assessing, monitoring, documenting, and reporting patient health status. Participate in implementing appropriate aspects of individualized plans of care. Monitor patient responses to nursing interventions. Communicate relevant changes in patient condition to the supervising RN, physician, or appropriate healthcare team member. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow established facility, nursing, safety, and security procedures. Level II LPNs may provide guidance and training to others performing routine nursing activities.

Minimum Qualifications Level I:

Active, valid Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license , or an LPN license recognized through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) .

Level II:

Active Oklahoma LPN license or qualifying eNLC license. Minimum 1 year of practical nursing experience . Candidates must also be willing and able to work the assigned shift and days of the week. Pre-Assignment Requirements Selected healthcare professionals must complete required online training before reporting to the facility. The training consists of 16 online modules and must be completed before the assignment begins. This position also requires drug and alcohol testing as part of the compliance process. #

INDOTH Pay:

$33.00 - $35.00 per hour
