Norman Job Summary:
We are seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at TruHeart Home Health - Norman. As a PRN LPN, you will provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Essential Functions:
Provide prescribed nursing care services to patients in the home care setting, following a Plan of Care (POC) and according to patient needs Monitor patient condition, report abnormalities, and make necessary adjustments to care plan Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Maintain accurate and concise records of patient care and status Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Participate in on-call rotation as required Perform selected skills actions, such as wound care and IV maintenance Identify and address patient needs and problems, and report concerns to supervising nurse Maintain a professional and respectful attitude, and promote teamwork and harmony with patients, family, and staff
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate knowledge and competency in performing baseline nursing skills and procedures Implement nursing care plans and make necessary adjustments Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings Maintain a safe and efficient work environment Follow all agency policies and procedures Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
Additional Requirements:
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test Must have a valid Oklahoma LPN license, CPR certification, and driver's license Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or hospital setting Must have completed competency assessments Must have a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality
