Compassion Home Care provides in home health care to patients as well as their families/caregivers. We provide person centered one on one care to the patient and their families/caregivers in an effort to improve the patient's quality of life . We are hiring for a full-time LPN Field position. This position will be based out of our Stigler location. Job Duties Provides services in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and regulations that define scope of practice. Prepares clinical and progress notes on the relevant and specialized nursing services he/she provides. Assists the RN in carrying out the plan of care. Prepares equipment and materials for treatment adhering to aseptic technique as required. Assists the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques. Assesses patient/family response to care. Insures communication of information to appropriate team members. Submits documentation per agency policy. Participates in Clinical Record Reviews. Participates in in-service programs and staff and IDT meetings. Evaluates own needs for support and using identified system(s) to meet the need. Job Requirements Must have an active Oklahoma or Compact State LPN License that is in good standing with the Board of Nursing. Required to have CPR certification (provided by the agency) Required to participate in on-call rotation. Sufficient computer skills to navigate and chart in EMR system.
