36 Hours. Community Access, Inc. is a growing Oklahoma provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We are looking for dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in Stillwater, Oklahoma . This is a direct-care nursing position where you will have the opportunity to provide individualized nursing care and support while developing meaningful relationships with the people you serve. Pay & Benefits $29.00 per hour Additional $2.00/hour differential for overnight and weekend hours $1,500 sign-on bonus when eligibility requirements and conditions are met Health insurance Life insurance Aflac supplemental insurance options Paid training Opportunity to grow with an established and expanding Oklahoma I/DD provider What You'll Do As an LPN with Community Access, your responsibilities may include: Provide skilled nursing care and interventions Monitor and document individuals' physical and mental status Administer medications and treatments as ordered by authorized medical providers Document medications, treatments, nursing interventions, responses, adverse reactions, and changes in condition Implement written nursing plans of care Communicate changes and healthcare needs to appropriate members of the individual's support team Attend medical appointments as needed Participate in Individual Plan (IP) and interdisciplinary team meetings as requested Provide direct care and general support to individuals when skilled nursing interventions are not being performed Assist in maintaining a safe, supportive, and comfortable home environment Follow Community Access policies, procedures, training requirements, and applicable regulations Minimum Requirements Applicants must: Hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Be able to successfully complete required background checks Be dependable and able to report for scheduled shifts Have strong communication and documentation skills Be able to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Be committed to treating individuals with dignity and respect Be willing and able to complete all required training Hold a current Oklahoma Drivers License A Different Kind of Nursing If you're looking for an LPN position where you can get to know the people you care for instead of constantly moving from patient to patient, Community Access may be a great fit.
