HOUSING ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care and support to residents in accordance with care plans, physician orders, and facility policies. This role includes medication administration, documentation, supervision of CNAs, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of care.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in alignment with care plans and physician orders Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in a timely and thorough manner Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality care delivery Monitor resident conditions and report significant changes to the RN or physician Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Participate in care plan development and updates Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols Ensure resident rooms and care areas are clean, safe, and properly equipped Respond to emergencies and follow proper incident reporting procedures Maintain accurate narcotic counts and ensure secure medication storage Support in-service training and attend mandatory educational sessions Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
