RN/LPN Private Duty Nurse - Bethlehem, PA Wednesday through Saturday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Pediatric Case Extended Family Care is a leading in-home healthcare service provider serving families throughout the Allentown, PA area. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a private duty pediatric case in Bethlehem, PA . This case involves care for a 3-year-old patient with trach, ventilator, and G-tube needs . The home has cats and is a non-smoking environment . Schedule Wednesday through Saturday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Responsibilities Our Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct patient care, teach and support aspects of patient and family care, evaluate patient needs, and help maintain appropriate care plans.
Essential duties include:
Obtaining patient medical history as it relates to the patient's current condition Performing physical assessments to identify patient needs Evaluating the patient's home environment and family dynamics Monitoring the patient's condition and identifying needed services Following and helping maintain the patient's plan of care Communicating changes in condition or care needs to the physician Coordinating care with other active caregivers Carrying out other assigned nursing duties Qualifications Current RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania Pediatric experience preferred Trach and ventilator experience preferred Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to detail Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time work, Extended Family Care would like to hear from you.
