POSITION SUMMARY
This position combines IV Therapy Administration, Wellness Therapy Support, Client Education, Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management, and Client Progress Tracking within a growing Functional Medicine practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IV
Therapy & Clinical Care Perform IV insertions and administer IV nutrient and hydration therapies according to provider protocols. Monitor clients throughout IV treatments and respond appropriately to adverse reactions. Administer B12 injections and other provider-directed therapies. Document IV placement, type, administration details, patient response, and treatment outcomes. Obtain vital signs and support client safety and comfort throughout treatments. Wellness Therapies & Client Education Assist with laser therapy, Neuronic/Radiant therapy, TruVega, and additional Functional Medicine therapies. Educate clients regarding therapies, treatment plans, wellness strategies, and lifestyle recommendations within scope of practice. Reinforce provider recommendations and encourage active participation in the healing process. Build meaningful relationships with clients and create a welcoming, healing environment. Support clients with empathy, encouragement, and professionalism. Clinical Operations & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked IV therapy area. Manage inventory and ordering of IV supplies and clinical materials. Assist with OSHA compliance, Bloodborne Pathogen updates, infection-control procedures, and safety education. Participate in staff education and training activities and support clinic workflow efficiency.
ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS
(EHR) & CLIENT
PROGRESS TRACKING
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Enter and update client demographic, clinical, treatment, and wellness data. Prepare, organize, and maintain client charts. Document IV therapies, injections, wellness interventions, outcomes, and adverse reactions. Track client progress throughout treatment plans and wellness programs. Monitor client goals, milestones, improvements, and barriers to success. Record client-reported symptom changes and wellness outcomes. Assist with laboratory data organization and clinical information gathering. Support follow-up communication and continuity of care. Maintain detailed chart notes, wellness journals, and treatment documentation. Help identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improved client outcomes. Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance standards are maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License. Current IV Certification with demonstrated IV insertion skills. Current CPR/BLS Certification. Experience with IV therapy and injection administration. Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent organization and documentation abilities. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team. Preferred Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Infusion Therapy, Wellness, or Concierge Medicine experience. Experience tracking client outcomes and progress over time. Interest in mitochondrial wellness, cellular health, and health optimization. Passion for educating and empowering clients. Growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
